Overview
The Resource Mobilization Directorate is responsible for leading the Conservation Trust Fund’s efforts to identify, attract, secure, and sustain financial resources from domestic and international sources to support the implementation of the CTF’s mandate and the programmes of the National Protected Area Authority (NPAA).
The Directorate serves as a strategic link between the CTF and government, bilateral and multilateral development partners, international financial institutions, conservation organizations, philanthropic foundations, the private sector, carbon-market actors, and other potential funding partners.
It develops and implements resource-mobilization strategies that diversify the Fund’s income base and reduce dependence on any single source of financing. It also supports the development of high-quality funding proposals, investment opportunities, partnerships, and innovative financing mechanisms for biodiversity conservation, climate action, ecosystem management, and wildlife protection.
